Sad Angel

This is a COPY of an awesome pic my brothers girlfriend drew. I am getting better at using markers, this is done with warm gray copics. Anyhoo, hope you like.

Yo Joel. This is a really hot pic. I like the triangular composition> the negative shapes are rockin too> you even proved that monochromatic color schemes can work! i like those> keep up the good work!

It will be all right Angel!! I love this picture... You have inspired me to write a poem...simple yet has so much feeling to this...I love Angels too! I like the subdued use of color..it really sets a somber mood along with the expressive way you drew the wings dropping on the floor...kind of holding the angel up...sitting in the lotus position she seems to be trying to brace herself...or concentrate on thinking about what has happened and what she will next do...Great work Joel!

Artist Reply: Thank you very much. However all credit for the droopy wings and the pose/expression and such are due to my friend who originally drew the pic, Tiffany. Thanks for your comment! I'd like to hear the poem you write?
