soap

It's the BUBBLES! People loved the bubbles. I sense that this is about a few things, including just their happy "bubbliness"! :-) They're just FUN! This piece was completed primarily while attending the 4th Avenue Street Fair in Tucson, Az. in December, 2005, and few of my paintings have gotten the enthusiastic response this one has generated. I enjoy the simplicity of it and the 'larger-than-life' depiction of such an every day object. Of course the bubbles were fun to paint, and the marbling in the soap.

Damn..yeah I concur with Kukua..wow :)..I envy artists who can paint like this. It is *very* realistic and detail orientated but looks enough like a painting to be appealing. The colours especially. Who knew soap could look so good! :)
