American cockerspaniel puppies are the pick of the litter, they are adorable and good companions unless you make them nervous... I had a black one just like the one in the picture who became the champion of Ontario. One day a neighbour down the street who hated immigrants poisioned her and she died on the way home. I have never forgiven that man . It was inhumane what he did. Since than I have only taken rescue dogs.... although I would love another black cocker I am now too old for that. What a pitty!
