(c)2006 Interesting fact,...but I'm not sure why, is how in two different pictures, with the same zoom, on the same day, at the same half-hour, in two slightly different locations, the moon appears quite large in one, and very small in another? Does anybody know why this happens? My opinion is heat vapor from the hills under the large moon magnify it's image, where when the moon is seen considerably above the skyline, it appears at it's normal size.
