Rottweiler / whippet cross

An unusual mix of pooch, but a real character. I did this portrait as a commission a couple of Christmases ago. The dog had a very thin pointy face but quite a stocky body with the classic rotti markings, so she was definately different and as a pup she was even funnier. It's a shame they only wanted her face portraying really, but then maybe not, anyone who looked at the portait without seeing the little lady in the flesh would think it was a terribly out of proportion picture. :-) caran d'ache supracolor soft pencils on heavy acid-free paper. 16"x12".
