Artist Reply: Thank you all, Glasgow was where I was born and brought up and love painting scenes from there, especially old scenes. I based the wee boy as my dad, he didn't have a very happy upbringing, very poor and I can just imagine him looking at all the goods on sale, especially the boots to keep his feet warm. Loved painting this scene.
