This is a painting of the River Clyde in Glasgow, Scotland...At one time it was the workshop of the world, now only a few engineering companies and shipyards remain. But if you look, all around there are the traces of the past, a rail here, an old mooring ring there. This is one of a series called "Work River", celebrating the Clyde. The original is in pastels on Mi-Tientes A3 paper. This image has been composited and worked on with my digital pen and tablet in Photoshop. I used the channels calculations, but no filters.
