A vibrant sun was setting to my right, shooting a beam of light through the barrel of the breaking wave. There was a hard onshore tide fighting a strong offshore wind, which created some great light in the spray.

Excellent shot, Jennifer. Love the glimmer of light on the body of the wave below its crest, plus the golden light catching the spray. Wonderful!
