Lace Cocoon

This piece is of a small clay girl figure inside a lace cocoon that is connected to a yarn & wire tree inside a handpainted and laquered cigar box. An original short poem is on the inside door of the box. Gold sequins cover the box and on the back is a antique lace embellishment! The handle is an antique pearl button.

there is with no doubt to my minds eye a ritual, a dance a sequence if you will to the whole of this creative performance, in a word i recognize and admire it. amazingly great creative art with a message deep within for all that take the time to see.......
