This is a very nice piece, Deborah. It simply draws me in... One can see why it would be recognized...congratulations!

Although I don't have any of my older series posted here on ArtWanted.com, I was working on a series inspired by the art and culture of the Australian Aborigines until about 6 months ago (along with doing other work). This very much reminds me of that spiritual quality they put into their work, as well as the basic abstracted quality they use. They love that use of line, as well. Have you been inspired by them, or by some South-Sea islander work? This is really a lovely piece.
