I did this pretty quick for my standards about five hours.I have had a toothache the last couple nights and just sat on the couch and drew...This isn't one of my best, but it is good enough I think to post.I am not a huge Willie Nelson fan,but after the Johnny Cash portrait I thought it might be a good companion drawing...Why the wolf? I dunno...maybe he is Willie's smoking buddy, but I wouldnt want to be around when he got the munchies.Pastel pencil on velour...

I have to tell you I am just stunned. Love your color choices and quite well manipulated especially considering your 'rush job' as you hinted at. Nice work! A_+Leo Da 21 Jul 2006

Wow! This is wonderful - the hand is extrodinary! Interesting the way the wolf almost seems to have feathers - gives it a very Native American edge. Not a Willie fan, but absolutely love his "You Were Always on My Mind." Song runs thru my head as I look at this - lovely work.Ruth Tyson 30 Mar 2006
