The Hu Tong is a historic neighborhood in China. Expressionism, the heavy use of color reflects the feel of the Hu Tong. Patrick Otis Cox, When I was there in 2001 I stayed in the Hu Tong so I could live like the local people, eat the same food and attemped to experience the Chinese traditional way of life. The one woman standing in the entrance way and the impression of a 800 year old building gives emotion to my memory of that wonderful trip half way around the world.
