I have been working on this on and off for a few months now. I finally finished it this weekend. I was just messing around with color and a weriod portrait. It was just done mostly for fun. Let me know what you think!
14"x17" done on Bristol Baord. Mix Media (colored pencil, pencil, and ink)
If you can't tell I scaned this one and got a line though the middle. If you could look past this for now.

Sorry I missed this one! I love it though...It is one of your most expressive pieces...One of your best all around, no pun intended. I like the gray face all wrapped up in swirls of colors...Freud would have a Field Day!!! For fun you say...It looks GREAT! Maybe that is the key to greatness...just letting go and leaving your heart and mind free to be what it wants to be...this one is serious and funny, that tongue is wild...hehehehe... It makes me laugh and makes me think about the way it feels to be an artist and to try to be creative and have thoughts of all kinds brewing inside taking over and making the artist who he is, the inner struggle of inventive visions...A Master Piece!!! I like the title of this work but scream would have suited it do. It is a great pencil work, the colours come across as soft and none threatening.
