Oceanic Silvertip Shark. Normally these pelagic fishes are rarely seen close to shore. I took this with a corrected 15mm lens and she was about four feet away - 13+ feet long. She was schooled with five others - all females. We believe this area of the reef was a nursery. Location = 110'+/-; New Hanover Island, Papua New Guinea.
