You succeed in creating a winter landscape, but use enough orange and yellow to make the image warm, rather than cool. I like the dramatic dark trees and the horizen line.
Hello Jen! How are you? I seemed to have missed these fabulous pictures. This one is really ethereal. Beautifully controlled and very atmospheric. Looks like a lovely Yorkshire landscape. It's a a very picteresque county! Brilliant!

Definitely has the winter atmosphere.. The colours in the sky - to me say it is a late evening sky, and make me feel cold.. burrr.. And the stark bare trees, their silhouettes against the 'late evening' sky reminds me that we all wait for spring with anticipation... Really nice winter watercolour. :o)
