December 2005 - 8" x 10" - Graphite/Carbon/Charcoal - 70lb Strathmore Acid Free Art Paper - Private Collection
This was created for my husband who is a bird lover. I tried a few new techniques in this, including mixing 2B graphite pencil with carbon pencils of different grades and charcoal pencils, also of different grades. I am pleased with the effect.

You have done a fantastic job with your mix and yes you should be pleased. I love this picture as do I the hummers but I wonder how you would have done with the color you do such a grand job also with your color I am sure it would have brought out the awsome effect of the colors of the hummer.Robin Gorton 16 May 2008
