CAT BURGLAR--(c)2003 Elton Houck 11" X 14" heavy acid free watercolor paper, painted with colored pencil, china marker, crepas, pastel, ink, and sealed with fixative.
I never heard the media china marker.. this so unique. I even like the colors how simple acts of art blended together to make it cool, I couldnt find the cat and I saw it,, this art is so cool. I see there is a lot of animals there to communicating as if they are all together.. Its like a story here, action and the sharpness of the colors.. I love your work a lot!!
Artist Reply: Thank you Homayra...I spoke of the china markers on the other reply...I just like to put various animals in my work..I guess it goes back to Mar Chagall with his bird people and flying roosers and violins floating...I like a lot of action in my art...I have sone some abstrct still lifes but not many...Thanks again my friend.
