Pope John Paul II was my Friend

Who could not be an admirer, friend or this wonderful man and the work he achieved here on this Earth? It does not matter if you are catholic or not ( I am not ). He reached out to the entire world with his teaching, his visits to so many countries ( over 100). He was truly a saint during this time and must be one of the most significant figures of our modern era. And I miss him . . . . . This painting done is the old Gothic Oil style& it seems appropriate . . . . . .

OOOhhhh! I loved Him tooo Richard and I miss him too and I am not Catholic either but, I feel the same as you...and some people think I am crazy because I say so. Excellent tribute and image. I am sure many still feel his loss. I will always. You have brought a blessing this day and rays of hope...thank you for carrying on his light! may you ever feel love and be loved.
