There is something very refreshing in your plein air works. I think they require a spontaneity that sometimes gets lost in studio works. One of my former neighbors does plein air work in California and she paints the canvas red prior to beginning. It gives an astonishing brightness to the works, especially if they contain a lot of green. Very lovely.
