The Watcher

I have been commissioned to do artwork for an upcoming book on spirituality. This piece was done for chapter one. It's my interpretation of the entity described as the 'Watcher'. A demon alien of sorts that creates life to do it's bidding. Done in gouache and graphite on 35.6cm x 43.2cm white vellum paper. For some reason I can almost see the rest of the features in this Alison, even though I know that I can only really see the eyes? Nice balance and definitely creepy looking.
