A Proud Chicken

This a photo taken this morning at 3:30 am of a chicken in the streets of Philadelphia. A cool fella posed soo kindly for my digital camera with out being scared off.. This guy had his two Hens with him walking soo proudly.. I removed the color because it represents this guy in his prime..enjoy..

This one made me laugh. (I have a degree in Poultry Science). It seemed so untypical of your work. Chickens are amazing creatures and the rooster has long been a symbol of potency and virility. Artists are always surprising, aren't they?

Ahh I think he is a rose-comb, Columbian rooster...(or mixed of...) I used to have some before, and they were a delight to watch..nice shot, Juan..:-)

Not a normal night,last night,ay?We wake at three with the neighbor's chickens too:)Atleast he was on love patrol...breaking two roosters up,would have gone WAY different:)
