This is a quick painting that I've done because I'm hoping to get into a Federal Duck stamp competition and they need reference works to see if an artist is qualified, standard wise. I didn't have much time to get anything painted in an ultra realistic style but if I get invited to participate then I'll have almost a year to come up with a masterpiece, so to speak. I have another duck painting on the go and I have to have it finished before next Thursday the 13th ... as that's the submission deadline for samples of my work. I'm not too impressed with this one but, it shows fairly well the porportions of the ducks.
