I tried to capture a blue-green hummingbird, didn't happen, great job. They drink far too much caffine lol

Artist Reply: Hi, thanks for your comment on my hummingbird image.. The answer to your question, it was not easy.. They are hard to catch as they flit around too much.. But in this case I was lucky in that another female hummingbird was defending a area that this female wanted to feed .. SO she was in hover mode trying to figure how to out maneuver the other female with out getting hit. as they tend to do body slams when they get aggressive...I had a 200mm zoom lens at the 200mm setting, my shutter speed was 640 at about f/8. It took me a few attempts to be able to frame her in my camera as she kept flying around.. But I finally got her .. Thanks for asking , take care, Gary
