The ancient ruins of Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula built by the Mayan Civilization. It was amazing and also very disconcerting to actually be standing in areas where they had human sacrifices.

Wow, your so lucky.I've wanted to go to central America since I was 12. I have a small library of books on the Maya. And such great shots. Too bad the shot below wasn't on a soltice, so you could see the snake shadow.
