Cheetah

This is mainly taken from the sebeka photo but i've tried to make it look less 'cub-like'. It is done on handmade paper which is textured and has different coloured pieces of thread running throught it. I've done this for my grandmas 80th birthday.I hope she likes it!

So much for the girl who "can't do detail"! This is beautiful, I love it. The eyes are especially stunning - so expressive and realistic. Your grandma's very lucky! Oh, and it looks great on that paper - you're inspiring me to get to using some of mine!

Artist Reply: Ha! well its my attempt at detail - noone can do it quite like you though! I'm getting it framed soon. I think you should do acrylics on the paper as i don't think watercolour would work very well on the texture.

The subject certainly benefits from your use of color. I am not an "orange" person per say, and the shock of color coming onto my screen was a surprise. I am glad I looked though. Nice work.
