Something that amuses me is that whenever I do a piece of fanart that portrays Edward Elric as a samurai, I get at least one person who mentions Himura Kenshin. So, I decided to beat them to the punch. Edward Elric and Kenshin Himura. Completely non-canon for either of them, as the samurai!Edward is native to the mid-1700's and Kenshin lived in the late 1800's. So, some sort of time warp or something, as they face down unseen enemies. I really like this picture. The posing's pretty good, and the background turned out awesome. Again, the style is after Stan Sakai, and I did use some Usagi Yojimbo comics as reference for the shading style. But, completely, 100% hand-drawn.
