And there off!! YeeHaw!! Such fun and excitment for everyone! The boys/jockeys have waited a long time for this chance, and it's finally here! This is an AWESOME painting showing the start of the race... I love how some have run right off the canvas! You have managed to capture and take us there Francis! I love your watercolour technique, it always is such a delight for the eyes, and tells one such a wonderful story in masterful detail :o)

After all the preparations we are getting the race. You have captured the swift motion so well. I love the dirt flying under their hooves. Extaordinary painting.
