I Did it My Way...

On June 23,05 Harry Eggens, the AMAZING photographer posted his image-"Attacus Atlas",At the immediate moment,I felt,it is me...I mean...since I know myself so well, and the kind of works that I do during the years,I felt, this photo has the same level of contrasts, that I would use in some of my designs ,or paintings...the colour combination,as if was taken from one of my works...I could myself take that moth, and combine from different sorce ,the same tropical Eliconia into one work.At that moment I knew...there will be a work inspired by that AWESOME PHOTO of him..AND...That was the very beginning, the STRONG inspiration,ENTHUSIASM....So here I post this felt workart, inspired by his photo...AND For me it also ,represent an important BEGINNING ,for a series of several works, that 1 more is on in the way to a finish...When i finish this all series,a cycle of inspiration ,will be closed -END...And probabley another new cycle will be open ......AND I THINK TO MYSELF ...What a wonderful WORLD!... ......This all work was made of 100% wool fibers,(view more images in this sub- gallery to see the fibers) about:55cm x 85 cm . I haven't seen Harry for months on this site, he saw this work. Amazing piece of work. I am also a felter so I understand how much work goes into the planning, preperation & making of your glourious felt pieces.

Beautiful piece. It looks almost like a pastel chalk piece. Amazing how you've done that.
