To commute in Dublin is a painful experience. As I walk around the streets, the cold cement that surrounds me is now reflected in its population. Moving marble statues. The strong, but sombre colours present a hidden strength, but yet still have a lingering essence of innocence. Without denying the depth and control of each figure, the contrasting foreground and background hold a singular plane to show an equality that should be respected at all times. In the background, one can see a variety of figures alluring the dominant figure into the darkness. Absorbing the difference in colours and layers. The figures hold a hypnotic dance that, at second glance, draw you in and enrapture the eye.
