Late Afternoon Light

While hiking at a quick pace to the ideal vantage point for photos of Mt. Cook in New Zealand, I was watching the play of light and shadow on the mountainsides. This particular area kept drawing my eye and I decided to take a moment to capture the scene on film. Minolta 801si alpha, 300mm lens, Fujichrome Velvia, no filter, no colour manipulation.
