Uluru, or Ayers Rock, is most famous for the grand view of the rock sitting like a giant lump of dough on the flat landscape of the Australian Outback. While photos of the grand vista are impressive, I like to walk around and explore the details as well. This photo was chosen for an exhibition in Tokyo and Osaka at the Fuji Photo Salon in 2001 and published in an almanac of photography.
