I do like!! The dark background adds depth. Really makes her beauty stand out. Great job! This would go in a "retro" decorated room!

gregg dutcher 03 Jul 2005

She's exceptionally beautiful Penny. The darkness brings out her captivating blonde hair. But the stars in her eyes reflect that she is a star. My favorite from many difficult choices.

This is excellent Penny. Your growth and developement of your skills are coming along very nicely. I have always been impressed with how well you do the faces. Your dedication to learning shows well and the improvements I have seen are outstanding. Trying something different always takes us to new and unexplored territory...the very thing that makes art so consumingly interesting. Excellent work Penny!

Penny...I particularily love the smoothness of her skin...and it has a glow(you seem to have a way with that). Love the lips and eyes the most in this piece...and even though your poor fingers got worked to the bone...I DO like the background....really great work. Just notice the little star shaped light reflecting in her eyes...VERY NICE TOUCH!!!! :)

joan warburton 30 May 2005

Wow Penny...I've been watching your progress since you joined AW and it's truly amazing...each drawing just keeps getting better and better...I see you adjusting tones and values, softening edges........changing backgrounds .....your talent is growing in leaps and bounds.

Steven Torrisi 30 May 2005

That is your best Penny, you can see definition in the cheek bones, the pouting lips are full and dimensinal, the face is soft, and you have incororated textile design into the fabric.
