Stacy Alexander is a unique American contemporary visual artist and creative writer whose work examines a broad range of aptitudes. She studied fine art formally at the Glassel Museum School in Houston,Texas and at The University of Houston. She holds degrees in psychology and creative writing .
The artist is a tribal member of the Lost Cherokee Native American Tribe.
Stacy is accomplished in many areas of art including: oils, acrylics, paper,watercolor, sculpture (wood, stone & metal) , video & other multi-media work, pen and ink, pastels, charcoal and digital art. She has had a number of solo and collaborative exhibitions on both national and international levels. Her work is heavily influenced by Hindu and Buddhist folk arts as well as folk art traditions from many other cultures.
