Artist Reply: Hi Nancy,This design is hand painted on Silk.Started with a conventional technique,using conventional silk paints,but then mixed with other paints to create a different look/effect.Meant as a design for printing,not to use this fabric itself,because the other paints that I use here,the non-conventional for Silk,can't be fixed.

Artist Reply: Hi Joan,acctually there R Parrot all over in all directions...There is a reason for that of - course...that is ,when You cut a fabric it's best if you can cut it that way,that it will look correct in all directions..here in this piece that I show,u see better those that are upside down,but if you look carefully ,u can see more directions.THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR COMMENTS,MUCH APPRECIATED.
