Having lived in the Philippines during my husband's naval career, I am drawn to tropical flowers. I photographed these at an exhibit and then used my own photo to create this original watercolor. This half-sheet (15" x 22") painting is matted and ready for framing. The image is also available in notecards.

I don't know if it was done like this on purpose... but I find that the nervures on the leaves look a bit artificial. The rest is really beautiful though!Renee Nemerov 11 May 2005
