Contemplation

In this drawing (3 feet by 4 feet) I wanted a surreal bend to it so i included floating band aids falling in the upper right from the sky and landing on the stretched glasses. I also wanted this work to become unified compositionally so i placed careful repititions of various objects such as the three hands, three baseballs, and and horizontal of the glasses. To do this was tricky so i placed an earing of a baseball in the left ear to compensate for the overall triangular balance and one hand forms the actual cap front and visor. Again the picture is kinda bad..makes it look older than it is. Copyright 2005 by Imaginative Pencil and myself. All Rights Reserved.

Super expressive artwork,Justin.it seems as if his finger's textures are suitable to his hat :-) His earing ?! reminds me a time in my life ,in which i could wear any earing, even like this one...This young man somehow seems to me familiar...I have the feeling I know him...Who is he ?
