Wonderful atmosphere and aerial perspective, Betty! This is a great painting. I too love the Oregon coast. I found a place there that I dubbed "Paradise Cove."

The curtain of rain on the horizon is perfectly done! The atmosphere of this painting is wonderful...with the rain in the distance, the sun being overtaken by clouds but still breaking through here and there casting it's light on the ground in a 'surreal' feel.. The colours are marvilous!! too many to mention!! perfectly done!! and the black dots in the clouds.. my imagination tells me they are seabirds climbing the winds to get out of the storm... (top right corner of the clouds) I LOVE this painting!! Wonderful Betty!! :o)

Very nice tone and colours. There is actually an "Agate Beach" beach at the coast of Namibia with real small Agate stones. Rain you would hardly find there.:)
