stop and smell the flowers

Watercolor, Children are always "in the moment". This painting shows a child enjoying the field of flowers, unaware of the angel watching over her. This is true of both heavenly and earthly angels.... Merchandise with this image is available at www.cafepress.com/astepbeyondgift

I have an original of this image and love it dearly. Rhonda died right after Christmas, 2008. She was a dear friend.

A beautiful illustration! You should submit some of your work to greeting card companies, like DaySpring.

I love your work! This morning I was pulling weeds in my flower beds n noticed a sweet smell. It was coming from my white Irises! I never had Irises b4 these last 2 years and didn't know they even had a smell. It was such a pleasant surprise. The white Irises remind me of this piece of work U created... Like the presence of purity in the background unnoticed until U realize something near U unseen leaves a delightful scent in the air!!! How wonderful your watercolor is!!!
