I used Prismacolor pencils on black Mi Tientes paper to create this 22" x 40" original drawing. I drew on black paper for years when I was doing alot of sports figures and celebrities. When used properly, I feel the dead black background really helped accentuate the human forms and was especially effective in adding drama to the sports figures.
