How many of us aspire to be and do great things only to find, at best, a consolation prize handed us? I think the only advice I can give would be to never give up and always put that best foot forward. Mine used to be my right. Oh well. This is a 6 by 4.5 inches gel pen with Crayola drawing on medium weight acid-free paper. Original Jones Art thinks one has to be a stubborn cuss to make real headway in northwest Austin, Texas---or anywhere.

Well that's some good optimistic advice, Charles. And I would add not to take yourself too seriously... nicely drawn as usual : )

Artist Reply: Trouble with not taking yourself too seriously is that you are usually the odd man out because everyone else is. Or maybe it's because they look a everything with a very narrow beam. I did a couple of larger drawings today but opted to upload this one as I wanted to add color to them and knew how long it would take to do the job right. Doing the job right is the only way to go, I think. Hope the heart of Saturday night was pleasant, Dave. :)
