It describes an unrealistic mental state where you ignore hard facts. It started in LA and spread worldwide---sort of like Covid, you might say. This is a 6 by roughly 4 inches gel pen with color pencil drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. My thoughts on size? I've seen half a thought spread over the side of a building and very intriguing work approximately the size of a postcard. This is Original Jones Art doing his smallish but heartfelt best in northwest Austin, Texas.

Super background on this one, really like the color , Charles... and is that a bindi on his forehead ? Not all folk in LA are in La la land,.. I can attest, but many are as in other places also. Hope all is well out your way

Artist Reply: Not everyone got Covid either, Dave. Just a lot of folks. A lot of us live in the suburbs of that place whether we realize or not. Whenever we choose to ignore or just 'not see' something we don't want to deal with, we move that much closer to the heart of La La Land. The sun is still shining--and a project piece is still drying, but we a supposed to get some rain soon. :)
