The Greeks had it right: black bile. Modern definition: a deep and severe state of sadness, hopelessness, and lack of interest in life. Therapists probably refer to it as depression. It is the malaise of the 21st Century. Folks adopt personas that don't fit and wonder why they're miserable. If you don't know who you are, how can you be anything? This is 6 by 4.5 inches gel pen with Crayola drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. Original Jones Art isn't so much depressed as pissed off here in northwest Austin, Texas. He could put his finger on the cause if he had enough fingers. One just won't do.

Artist Reply: Thanks, Dave. Yeah, I don't know what the relationship is between the gibberish comments and the number of hits this image has received. It sits at over 3500 right now which is what a certain demographic calls 'crazy.' They 'could' be Venusian. :)
