This character reminds me of my younger brother, David, when we were kids. Of course, he was never so snappy a dresser. I drew a portrait of him when I was an 8th grader and he was probably a 5th grader. One day I noticed that something had been written on the back of it. In my brother's inimitable scrawl was written, "Charles sux." I think I still have it somewhere. This is a 6 by 4.5 inches gel pen with color pencil drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. Original Jones Art still produced one memory at a time in northwest Austin, Texas.

Nice art and an exciting story bof your younger. Be well, my friend!

Artist Reply: Well, maybe more informative than exciting, Nikolay. I don't think that adjective could be used to describe my youth. I'd call it, for the most part, plain vanilla. Hope your end of things holds more excitement than mine. Ha. :)

Well at least he wrote on the back of it. Perhaps he secretly liked it , Charles : )

Artist Reply: Then he made a secret of a lot of things, Dave. Too bad I don't make adobe for a living. We have the perfect weather for it. Hope all is going well. :)
