To have a strong desire, ambition, or goal to achieve or become something. The trick, of course, is to choose something worthwhile and push in that direction. Not to the exclusion of all other directions, but with a strong core incentive that propels one forward. Original Jones Art has always moved with a strong undercurrent of ambition as his guide. If he has in any way succeeded, only time will tell here in northwest Austin, Texas---and elsewhere.

Artist Reply: Yes, it is the doing not the talking about the doing that leaves a little something behind. Talk is, they say, cheap---though folks seem to put a lot of effort into their syllable mashing. Hope all is good with Dave today. :)
