I've lived since childhood with the hope that mankind will round that elusive corner to a brighter more reasoning reality. That it hasn't happened yet is pretty obvious. Oh well. This is a 6 by 4.5 inches gel pen with color pencil drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. Original Jones Art still retains a glimmer of hope but not in his lifetime here in northwest Austin, Texas.

Same here, Charles. I thought things could only get better after the summer of love, social awareness , etc ... boy was I wrong . But a look at history thru the ages , seems there was always something to overcome, We'll just have to enjoy life in the present as much as we can : ) Hope your day is going well

Artist Reply: Yes, the 60's seemed hopeful, in part. I wanted so much to go to Woodstock but it didn't happen. When the young radicals became tie-wearing businessmen, it went out like a light. Getting by is all we can hope for these days. Hope the weatherman has omitted tornadoes from his forecast in your area. :)
