This is another 90's piece. Hey, I didn't have a name for it then and not having a title is rather rare for yours-truly, so it doesn't have one now. It looks like I used a black pencil, possibly charcoal,. and then reinforced some of the lines with ink, possibly gel. It is on an acid-free scrap of what we used to back archival-quality framing back in the day. It is small, measuring only 3.5 by 2.25 inches. I still believe it to be Original Jones Art originating from that wondrous capitol city, Austin, Texas. Uh, where I was standing or sitting at the time is indeterminate.

The picture is telling me something deep, but i don't know what exactly it is. In you works I feel you are like a philosopher, Charles. By the way, I am your friend Cervantes Wu.

Artist Reply: Thank you, my friend. I hope your photography is shared on AW for a long time to come. :)

Very cool , Charles . Has a Francis Bacon look to it done in your style. Nice darks and cross hatching : ) A nice cool spring day here, hope you are enjoying yours

Artist Reply: It's 77, partly cloudy and I've some bits out front drying in the sun Dave. I've also put the finishing touches on the drawing I'll probably upload tomorrow. I've got some new color pencils due to arrive tomorrow. Faber-Castell Black Edition. I stumbled across them recently and thought I'd add a few to the arsenal. :)
