Some folks are a lot more successful at it than others, I'm told. This is a 6 by 4.5 inches gel pen with color pencil drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. It's another example of Original Jones Art as he huddles between two small heaters here in northwest Austin, Texas.

NO MORE TEARS. BE LIKE US MICHAGANDERS AND LAYER, LAYER, LAYER. LONG SLEEVES, SWEAT SHIRTS , LONG JHONS. YOU'LL WARM RIGHT UP. NEED A SMILE NEXT TIME.!!

Artist Reply: Thanks, Joanie! I have been wearing several layers of clothing since this cold snap began. Drawing takes my mind off of the cold, and other things as well. Hope you are doing great. :)

Nice color and expression , Charles . Must be hard for him to dry his tears though : ) Cheerful warm thoughts are being sent your way

Artist Reply: That's why he always plants a garden. All the water you can get in Texas. Of course, hoeing and tilling can be a problem as well. Hope all is good with you, Dave. :)
