Roy Orbison had a hit at the beginning of the 60's by that name. But it also seemed to fit this piece. Can you believe people bought an album called Lonely and Blue? Maybe folks were more honest about their emotions back then. This is a 6 by 4.5 inches gel pen with color pencil drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. Original Jones Art is shaking the feeling tree here in northwest Austin, Texas. Uh, all by his lonesome.

Artist Reply: It's supposed to drop down to just under freezing here for the next couple of days, Dave. The coldest days we've had so far. No rain or anything else. I've been doing quite a bit of drawing since the new year hit but little else.
