Defined as a person who can endure pain or hardship without showing their feelings or complaining. I find it difficult to believe that most of us don't turn a bit stoical as we age. Or we become whinny noisy adult babies. There must be some balance between the two. This is an 8.5 by 5.5 inches mixed media piece on watercolor paper. I used India Ink, gel ink, watercolor, acrylic, color pencil and I rubbed it against the kitchen sink for good luck. Original Jones Art still mixing it up in northwest Austin, Texas.

Artist Reply: I second that emotion, Dave. It reached 87 today. I put some of my larger more recent 3D pieces out front to sun. It takes quite a while for my pieces to totally dry. Until they do, they are still a bit malleable which makes fine-tuning possible even a year or so after completion. Uh, well more or less completion. :)
