I going to take my vacation at The Big Rock Candy Mountains. Sounds like a nice place to hang for a bit. Title refers to a hobo song recorded in 1928 by Harry McClintock who, it seems, also penned it. This is a 6 by 4.5 inches gel pen with color pencil drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. Original Jones Art has known for a long time that a song can take one places other than northwest Austin, Texas.

Always a fantic work of art :)

Artist Reply: I'll take 'fantic' to be somewhere between frantic and fantastic. Either way, I'll take it. :)

Cigarette trees ... and the bulldogs all have rubber teeth .... They surely don't write 'em like that anymore, Charles : ) Nice colors in the background. Cheers for a good weekend !

Artist Reply: And no one is sucking anything other than some hard rock candy. Sounds like the author had some actual experience in hoboism. Ha, I may have coined a new word. Sounds as good as Taoism to me. Hope all is good. We MAY get some rain later today. :)

Sounds like tasty mountains Charles lol;D

Artist Reply: Here's the URL if you'd like to hear the song, Ray.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E6F0IhdaaWI I'm not sure how this will work as I've never tried inserting one of these before. It's a great old folksong. Hope all is going well. :)
